FIFA 22 TOTY 12th man vote leaks and predictions with three huge stars in contention


The EA Sports FIFA 22 TOTY 12th man vote and candidates will soon be revealed in FUT 22, with players able to vote for the player they want to receive a heavily upgraded FUT 22 TOTY player item, following their omission from the FIFA 22 TOTY Final XI.

Following the release of the EA Sports FIFA 22 TOTY Final XI, the TOTY 12th man vote and candidates are expected to be revealed soon.

EA Sports revealed the FIFA 22 TOTY Final XI on Thursday, January 20, 2022 at 15:30 PM BST, lead by Paris Saint-Germain superstar Lionel Messi and Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski, with players like Kevin De Bruyne, Jorginho, Kylian Mbappe and N’Golo Kante also included.

Five PSG players featured in the FIFA 22 TOTY Final XI, with Manchester City having three players featured, whilst Champions League winners Chelsea have two players included in the FIFA 22 TOTY Final XI, and there was a single player from Bayern Munich.

One of the major surprises was the omission of Liverpool star Mohamed Salah, who missed out on a place in the FIFA 22 TOTY Final XI, despite his sensational season for the Reds. The other big omissions were players like Chelsea goalkeeper Edouard Mendy, Liverpool defender Trent Alexander-Arnold, Manchester United striker Cristiano Ronaldo, Real Madrid forward Karim Benzema and Italy stars Leonardo Bonnuci and Giorgio Chiellini.

The good news for these players is that the FIFA 22 TOTY 12th man candidates are expected to be revealed shortly, with no confirmed update. FUT 22 players will be able to vote for who they want to be named as the TOTY 12th man, with the winning player receiving a heavily upgraded FUT TOTY player item.

Some of the previous TOTY 12th man players have been Lionel Messi (FIFA 21), Cristiano Ronaldo (FIFA 20) and Neymar Jnr (FIFA 19).

As has been the case in almost every FUT promo in FIFA 22, the TOTY promo stars were leaked on social media prior to the reveal, and it’s the same story with the FIFA 22 TOTY 12th man nominees.

According to @FutSheriff, via @fifa_romania, the FIFA 22 TOTY 12th man candidates have already been confirmed, and it’s good news for Liverpool and Manchester United fans.

Of course, as with all leaked content, it’s not possible to confirm this information, but these social media accounts have been very reliable in the past, not just for TOTY, but for the majority of FUT 22 promos this year.

EA Sports’ FIFA 22 TOTY fan vote ended on Tuesday, January 18 2022 at 7:59 am GMT, having first opened on Monday, January 10 2022 at 16:00 pm GMT, with fans able to vote for a TOTY from 80 TOTY nominees including Lionel Messi, Mohamed Salah, Robert Lewandowski and many more.

In the terms and conditions of the EA Sports FIFA fan vote, there was a line that read “The final Team of the Year selection will be determined by community votes with possible input from EA”, so players have been debating about the exact weight that the fan vote will have on the final FIFA 22 TOTY selection.
