HE MUS STAY

Jamal Musiala has had an impressive calendar year in the colours of Bayern Munich.

First of all, the teenager became the youngest player to represent the German giants in the Champions League last season.

He then followed this up by earning the title of Bayern Munich’s youngest ever scorer in the competition with the strike that doubled the reigning champions lead in Italy a couple weeks ago.

And now according to reports, Musiala is estimated to earn a whopping £4.3m per season after the 18-year-old put pen to paper on his first professional contract committing him to Bayern until the summer of 2026.

In addition to that, the midfielder could get the opportunity to showcase his talents on the international stage later on this month after controversially choosing to play for Germany over England.

Talking to the Athletic Musiala said: “In the end, I just listened to the feeling that over a long period of time kept telling me that it was the right decision to play for Germany, the land I was born in.

“I have a heart for Germany and a heart for England. Both hearts will keep on beating.”

Hans-Dieter Flick has decided to bench Musiala for tonight’s encounter but will the teenager get the opportunity to come off the bench and add to his goal tally?
