He has been backed by his supermodel wife for the last seven years.

But there relationship seems to be coming to a bitter end as Joana is filing for a divorce.

Who is Dani Alves’ wife Joana Sanz?

Joana Sanz and Dani Alves met in 2015 after being introduced by a mutual friend.

Joanna was born in Tenerife in 1993.

The supermodel has been strutting the catwalk since she was 17 and has since worked with Jimmy Choo, YSL, L’Oriel and many other famous brands.

She has been based in Madrid and the pair only met just before Alves moved to Juventus in Italy.

Alves had to propose to Joana THREE TIMES before she finally accepted the engagement.

According to reports, she was not keen on the idea of marriage and was reluctant to accept Alves’ engagement ring.

But the pair married in 2017 in a private ceremony in Ibiza.

Has Dani Alves been married before?

Yes, the Brazil superstar has had a previous marriage.

He wed Dinora Santana in 2008 but they divorced in 2011.

The pair have two kids together – Daniel and Vitoria.

Alves’ ex-wife is no mug either – she runs the football agency Kick & Run Sports Management, which is based in Germany.

After their divorce, she reportedly helped Alves get a new contract at Barcelona and facilitated his move to Juventus in 2016.
