YERRY MINA had fans in stitches for his celebration MID-penalty shootout in Colombia’s win over Uruguay.

The Everton defender stepped up from 12 yards to put Colombia 3-1 ahead on spot-kicks in their Copa America quarter-final.

After he converted, Mina started celebrating as though he had won the game in normal time.

He even looked directly into the camera as he broke out dancing – with fans pointing out it is not his first offence.

One tweeted: “Don’t forget, he did that with Barcelona.”

Another posted: “Nah man this is class.”

One commented: “All the time in the world for this. Not even the winning penalty.”

Another remarked: “This is peak shamefulness.”

Explaining his decision to celebrate scoring for Barcelona against Espanyol in 2018, Mina said at the time: “I always try to be happy, to show the happiness I have inside and to transmit it to those around me.

“I am happy on a personal level and also because the team played a great match.

“I had already said to my family that I was going to enjoy my first goal.”

Mina equalised for Columbia against England in the 2018 World Cup last 16 with last minute header.

But the Three Lions went on to secure a famous win on penalties, with Columbia left heartbroken.

Now, they are on course for redemption with a semi-finals against Argentina on Wednesday.
