Injury forced Lucas Vazquez to leave Saturday’s Clasico much earlier than he would’ve liked. After a challenge from Sergio Busquets, the right-back was substituted in the 41st minute.
In the latter stages of the first half, both Lucas and Busquets went for a loose ball in the Real Madrid half of the field.
The Galician got there first, leaving the Catalan to clatter into him. After the challenge, Lucas appeared to have hurt his knee.
After trying to carry on, Lucas was forced to leave the pitch, substituted for Alvaro Odriozola in the 41st minute. Dani Carvajal is still injured, leaving Zinedine Zidane very short on options at right-back.
