The going is getting tough at Real Madrid, but they’re not going to give up any time soon in the fight for the LaLiga Santander title.
After beating against Granada on Thursday night, Los Blancos find themselves two points behind leaders Atletico Madrid with two games remaining.
Barcelona and Sevilla have fallen away in the title race over the last three matchdays, and Zinedine Zidane‘s side are the only team left with a realistic chance of pipping Atletico to top spot.
Neither side can afford any slip-ups at this point, with Diego Simeone‘s side set to host Osasuna this weekend, while Real Madrid travel to face Athletic Club.
Real Madrid keep pushing
The victory at Granada took Real Madrid to 16 games without defeat, with 11 wins and five draws since their loss to Levante on January 30.
Zidane‘s men passed up an opportunity to take advantage of Atletico‘s draw with Barcelona after they also shared the spoils in a controversial clash with Sevilla, but the three points against Granada keep their title hopes alive.
