However, a potential sale won’t come easy for the French champions due to the 30-year-old’s high salary.

Previous reports suggested that Neymar has been on a whopping £490,000 per week, which is the club’s second highest wage bill behind Lionel Messi.

The Brazilian hasn’t managed to stand out as anticipated after his record-breaking £198m move from Barcelona in 2017.

The ex-Santos star has amassed an astonishing total of 100 goals and 60 assists in 144 appearances across all competitions.

But Neymar hasn’t been able to inspire PSG to the Champions League trophy, which has been the club’s top goal since their Qatari takeover in 2011.

More star players could be on their way out after Mbappe penned a new lucrative deal with the Ligue 1 giants, but the former Barca star is reportedly on top of that list.

The star striker sensationally snubbed a move to Real Madrid, with whom he has been linked for over a year.

Instead, the France international signed a new contract with PSG worth a staggering £500million over the next three years.

It includes a £250m bonus simply for signing the deal and then £85m per year – or £1.6million per week – after tax.
