There are two remaining fixtures between the three title favourites, with El Clasico on Matchday 30 and Barcelona hosting Atletico on Matchday 35.
Sevilla could close the gap on the teams above them if they take points off the likes of Atletico on Matchday 29 and Real Madrid on Matchday 35.
With their four-point lead over Barcelona still intact, Atletico are the only team that have their fate in their own hands. They have an inferior head-to-head record against Real Madrid, though, should they finish level on points with their neighbours.
