Barcelona vs Real Madrid | El Clasico: First 2021/22 Clasico kick off time confirmed

Matchday 10 will see the much anticipated first LaLiga SantanderClasico match between Real Madrid and Barcelona which will kick off at 16:15 CEST on Sunday, October 24.

Real Madrid and Barcelona are having somewhat contrasting campaigns thus far, with Carlo Ancelotti’s Los Blancos flying high atop the LaLiga Santander table, two points clear of city rivals and reigning champions Atletico Madrid.

Meanwhile, Barcelona have won just two of their four LaLiga Santander matches this season, and prior to their match with Cadiz, the Blaugrana were eight points behind Real Madrid, with war breaking out between coach Ronald Koeman and president Joan Laporta.

Both teams arrive at the first Clasico of the season after Champions League commitments during the week, with Real Madrid travelling to Shaktar Donetsk in Ukraine on Tuesday, October 19. Barcelona on the other hand host Dynamo Kiev on Wednesday in a must win match after their loss to Bayern Munich.

As a result, the Blaugrana will have one less day of rest compared to Real Madrid before the Clasico.
