Barcelona: Barcelona vs Inter Miami and New York Red Bulls: When will the matches be played?

Barcelona have announced they will face Major League Soccer sides Inter Miami and New York Red Bulls in the United States as part of their pre-season fixtures.

The LaLiga Santander club will first play David Beckham’s Inter Miami on July 19 at the DRV PNK Stadium in Miami.

Eleven days later, Barcelona play New York Red Bulls on July 30 at the Red Bull Arena in New Jersey.

Barcelona have become accustomed to regularly visiting the United States during the summer. The club considers it a key market to target for future investment into the club.

The team have travelled there in 2011, 2015, 2017, 2018 and 2019.

The match against Inter Miami will have several incentives. In addition to one of its owners being Beckham, it has several names known to European fans including coach Phil Neville and stirker Gonzalo Higuain.

More matches possible

In addition to these two matches, Barcelona could play up more games on American soil

A Clasico against Real Madrid in Las Vegas is being considered, along with a game with Juventus in Los Angeles or Dallas.

Barcelona have collaborated with the ISL agency in a bid to arrange matches with two of the most followed teams in North America.
