Tottenham vs Manchester United: Best bets all Sunday’s Premier League games

Harry Kane can show Ole Gunnar Solskjaer the goods this afternoon.

There was a streaker at Manchester United ’s Europa awayday on Thursday, of the nuts and pulses variety, braving the night air’s chill.

A timely reminder to United target Kane and Tottenham that they are going to want to display some old-school balls over the next few weeks – or their season will shrivel on the vine.

The EFL Cup final is looming, but a top-four Prem finish is the plum in Jose Mourinho’s eyeline.

Manchester United’s visit (4.30pm) is the final Big Six fixture on his to-do list, which is something. Spurs have lost their last FIVE of those, which is something else. So take a DRAW at 5/2 (Fred).

In-form Kane scored twice in Spurs’ 6-1 win in the reverse fixture, and he’s a fair ‘anytime scorer’ poke at 13/10 (Paddy) on his numbers.

For a stats punt that can swing both ways we want ‘penalty scored in the match’ at 12/5 (Paddy) – a solid shout on the combined data.

Jamie Vardy has done punters many good turns over the years, but he’s scored one goal since Christmas. At these prices you have to look elsewhere when Leicester head to West Ham (2.05pm).

Tomas Soucek is the ‘anytime scorer’ answer at 7/2 (Paddy) – his airborne gifts are a good fit against the Foxes. Have some DRAW too at 12/5 (Fred).

A point each suits well enough when Newcastle (12pm) visit Burnley. So far the Clarets have drawn eight of 19 homes all told – get on the DRAW at 11/5 (Skybet).

Dropping Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang was an odd tactical reaction to Arsenal blanking against Liverpool. Still, Mikel Arteta’s bound to get one right eventually, if only by a process of elimination.

The trip to Sheffield United (7pm) looks like it could go a bit random too, so I’ll spin my lucky nugget at young Blade Jayden Bogle ‘anytime scorer’ at 20/1 (Bet365) – he’s way sharper than that price suggests.

Over in Italy, Roma longshot ace Lorenzo Pellegrini is a live ‘anytime’ poke at 16/5 (Unibet) for the visit of Bologna (Serie A, 5pm).
