Manchester United are reportedly ready to welcome home Jesse Lingard and hand him a contract extension.
Lingard, 28, has been in sensational form on loan at West Ham, netting five in seven since joining in the January transfer window.
His form earned him an England call-up and he featured for the Three Lions on Thursday as Gareth Southgate’s men ran out 5-0 winners over San Marino at Wembley.
Red Devils boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has been delighted with the winger’s performances for the Hammers.
And Solskjaer is now ready to give Lingard a chance to resurrect his career at Old Trafford.

According to The Sun,Manchester United are considering bringing Lingard back into the fold ahead of the summer and could hand him a brand new deal.
Lingard has one year left on his current £100,000-a-week contract and could receive a three-year extension.
United will receive competition from West Ham, who are hoping to sign the winger on a permanent deal in the summer, but Lingard is keen to make things work at Old Trafford.
Solskjaer recently spoke out about Lingard’s loan deal and admitted he’s very pleased with his progress.

“It has really worked out for Jesse, for David [Moyes] and for us as a club as well,” said Solskjaer. “We know Jesse’s position is a 10 and we’ve got Bruno [Fernandes] there.
“For me, it was a no-brainer to get Jesse a chance to prove himself and play some football again. He has been really bright for them. He’s finally back to himself.”
