Pep Guardiola’s side may have won three of the last four Premier League titles, but Etihad bosses are keen to continue their dominance.

Chelsea, Manchester United and Liverpool are all likely to improve and City know they will need to do similar.

City are reportedly closing in on a British record £100m move for Aston Villa skipper Grealish, who is mulling over his final decision while training with his boyhood club.

Meanwhile, Spurs star Kane has thus far failed to return to training in north London amid suggestions of a £160m bid.

The coming weeks look likely to be incredibly busy for the Premier League champions as they hope to conclude the biggest transfer deals in their history.

With that in mind, Mirror Football brings you the latest transfer news surrounding the Etihad.

Reports have claimed that the 28-year-old believes he has a ‘gentleman’s agreement’ with his boyhood club that would allow him to leave this summer.

However, Levy will do everything to keep his star asset and Redknapp has said that unless City meet his £150m valuation, a deal won’t happen.

“At the end of the day, unless Daniel gets the money that he wants, it isn’t going to happen,” Redknapp told Mail Sport.

“If he wants £150million and someone is offering £130million-£140million, it’s not going to get him. Daniel won’t budge.”

The Midlands side have offered Grealish a new contract and he has been locked in negotiations during their pre-season training camp.

In a video leaked on social media, Grealish was asked a number of times by supporters whether he was set to leave.

One fan can be heard saying: “you know how much we love you”, while another fan took aim at City by asking: “You want to join a club that was formed ten years ago? City are a small club mate, they’ll ruin you.”

To that, Grealish responded: “huh?” and swiftly moved down the line. His final decision should become clear in the next few days.

Delap transfer talks

Stoke manager Michael O’Neill has confirmed that the Potters are monitoring Liam Delap’s situation over a potential loan deal.

Liam’s dad Rory is a coach at the bet365 but O’Neill believes that won’t be an advantage in their chase for the young striker.

Stoke are hoping to sign Liam Delap on-loan this summer

He explained: “We obviously know about Liam’s situation with Rory being part of our coaching staff but what people have to remember is that it won’t be our decision, it will be his parent club’s decision and what they feel will be the right pathway for Liam.

“To think that we’re in any way advantaged because Rory is at the club won’t be the case. They will have a pathway for Liam which might mean they decide to keep him as part of their squad at this minute in time.

“If the opportunity came for us to try to do something of course we’d be interested in trying to do that, as we would be with a number of other young players at the top end of the game at Liverpool, Arsenal… all of these clubs.”
