Kieran Gibbs is set to join David Beckham’s Inter Miami in the summer once his contract at West Brom expires.

Gibbs is expected to sign a deal that keeps him in Miami for two and a half years.

ESPN report that the 31-year-old, who joined West Brom in 2017, has agreed a deal verbally and will soon put pen to paper.

The former England international is the club’s highest paid player on £70,000 a week.

New Inter Miami boss Phil Neville is working hard to recruit players ahead of the 2021 MLS campaign, which begins next month.

Neville, who wants to improve on last season’s tenth place finish, said recently: ‘In terms of the roster we definitely want to add two or three more players, that’s imperative for us to have a good season.

‘We’re working really hard, Chris Henderson [chief football officer] is doing a really good job. 

‘I do expect there to be one, two or maybe three more additions, but we’ll have to see.’
