CRISTIANO RONALDO revealed he “hopes” Arsenal win the Premier League title – before quickly correcting himself.
The 37-year-old legend has caused shockwaves at Old Trafford after dropping a number of bombshells during his interview with Piers Morgan.
He hit out at United for “betraying” him and making him feel like a “black sheep” as well as blaming him for everything going wrong at the club.
The striker revealed he does not respect manager Erik ten Hag and blasted the club’s lack of progress since Sir Alex Ferguson left in 2013 – the last time they won the title.
And he also claimed that the club “doubted” him after he informed them that the reason he arrived late of pre-season was because his baby daughter was in hospital through illness.
The first part of the interview with Ronaldo, who is currently ill with a stomach bug while on World Cup duty with Portugal, also saw him name just three players he admired at United.

The second part of the incredible interview aired at 8pm Thursday on TalkTV – and on it Ronaldo shockingly revealed he wants bitter rivals Arsenal to clinch the title if United can’t – that was after stating that he believes his side are three years away from challenging themselves.
Morgan, who is a huge Gooner himself, asked the icon if he would like to see Arsenal win the Premier League.
Ronaldo replied by saying “I hope so” before he quickly added: “Manchester first, and if not, Arsenal is some team that I like to see play.
“I like the team. I like the coach. I think they have a good team.
