Ronaldinho and Rivaldo both included Bukayo Saka in their top-three choices for the Kopa Trophy.
The prize is awarded to the best young player in the world under the age of 21 and a document has been leaked revealing the votes cast by the two Brazilian icons.
Barcelona’s Pedri won the award ahead of Paris Saint-Germain striker Kylian Mbappe and Juventus defender Matthijs de Ligt.
But Ronaldinho and Rivaldo both believe Saka warranted a spot in the top three, each naming him as their third choice. The Arsenal tyro eventually finished sixth in the overall voting.

Arsenal’s clash with Everton in the Premier League on Monday could be played in front of a discontented backdrop.
A section of the Goodison Park crowd are planning a walkout on 27 minutes following the Toffees’ torrid recent run. They’ve not won in eight Premier League games, their worst run for 22 years in the top flight, and supporters are unhappy with the club’s management structure.
