Saka backed by icons

Ronaldinho and Rivaldo both included Bukayo Saka in their top-three choices for the Kopa Trophy.

The prize is awarded to the best young player in the world under the age of 21 and a document has been leaked revealing the votes cast by the two Brazilian icons.

But Ronaldinho and Rivaldo both believe Saka warranted a spot in the top three, each naming him as their third choice. The Arsenal tyro eventually finished sixth in the overall voting.

Josh O’Brien has picked through Partey’s performance in the game in Manchester, noting the lack of concentration at key points from the 28-year-old.
