Arsenal transfer round-up: Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang ‘offers invited’ in transfer window

Arsenal are gearing up for the summer transfer window where manager Mikel Arteta is looking to bolster his side after a disappointing season.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang ‘offers invited’

Captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has been clear about being disappointed with Arsenal’s season but he hasn’t suggested he will leave the club so it has come as a shock that the Gunners are reportedly open to hearing offers for him.

The Telegraph are reporting he could be off next season with the likes of Chelsea interested in signing the star.

Arsenal had only offered the skipper £250,000-a-week contract last summer but their confidence in their leader seems to have disappeared.

While it is very cryptic it is said the Gunners are interested in the star.

And to add to the mystery of all the signings at Arsenal, Arteta has said he isn’t yet sure what is going to happen.

He said: “There are so many things to do because we already have a lot of players on loan and a lot of players with contracts still that we need to sort.

“It will depend on what happens with a lot of those players and what we are able to recruit to improve the team. That is going to determine where we are.”
