What the Casa Milan visit means for Bakayoko’s future at Milan

Tiemoue Bakayoko joined AC Milan on a two-year loan last summer but he was used very little this past season. Stefano Piol isn’t impressed with the midfielder and an early exit seems to be on the cards.

The Rossoneri are currently looking for a midfielder on the market to replace Franck Kessie, while Tommaso Pobega and Yacine Adli have returned from their respective loan spells. In short, there is no room for Bakayoko in the squad.

The Chelsea-owned midfielder isn’t part of their plans and as reported by Gazzetta Dello Sport (via SempreMilan), the parties are working on an early exit. As long as a new destination is found, Milan are happy to send him back to Chelsea.

Bakayoko was at Casa Milan yesterday and that is a clear indication of the future. He still has one year left on his loan, so he would have no reason to visit the headquarters if it wasn’t for the exit plan.
