It’s not exactly a secret that Milan are looking for a playmaker on the market, having parted ways with Hakan Calhanoglu. James Rodriguez and Hakim Ziyech are two options but there are also obstacles, a report claims.
As reported by Tuttosport (via MilanNews), Jorge Mendes has been looking for a new club for James Rodriguez, who is destined to leave Everton this summer. And on Twitch, the player himself flirted with Milan (read more here).
However, the salary of €7m is an obstacle for Milan, unless the player decides to reduce the figure to at least €4m. It’s a sacrifice that Rodriguez might consider, per the newspaper, but he isn’t the only one on the Rossoneri’s radar.
Hakim Ziyech, who could leave Chelsea towards the end of this month, is perhaps the most interesting profile. Milan like the player a lot and will certainly make an attempt, but it’s not known if the English side will accept a loan.
