Three reasons Milan are tempted to gamble on Real Madrid playmaker Isco

AC Milan are interested in signing Isco from Real Madrid for the position of attacking midfielder due to three reasons, a report claims.

MilanNews writes how the Spaniard is likely to leave Real Madrid after eight years with Los Blancos following his most difficult campaign yet, during which he played only 10 games as a starter. He is not part of the plans even for the new coach Carlo Ancelotti.

With only one year of contract left, the price of Isco should be quite affordable – about €20m – and while his salary at Real is around €7m, he should lower his economic demands a bit given he is not the hot commodity he was a few years ago.

Another reason Milan could bet on him is that he would undoubtedly be a great reinforcement, as his quality is unquestionable as well as his experience in the Champions League, in which he has already played 72 games and has won it four times.

The third factor which works in his favour is the desire for redemption after the last few difficult seasons. He is still quite young (29 years old) and therefore is a player who, if he feels the trust of the coach and the environment, can still give a lot.
