The 2022/23 season of Serie A began last weekend and AC Milan got off to a good start with a 4-2 win against Udinese. The Rossoneri also have a few loanees to monitor this season, such as Daniel Maldini.
In total, there are three Milan players currently on loan in Serie A. Of course, there are many more if you also take a look at Serie B/C, but in the top flight we have the likes of Mattia Caldara, Lorenzo Colombo and Daniel Maldini.
Colombo came off the bench in the 63rd minute in Lecce’s 2-1 loss against Inter, who scored the winner late in injury time. He got a yellow card and didn’t have a huge impact on the game overall.
Moving on to Spezia, Caldara played the entire game against Empoli and Spezia won by the odd goal. Maldini, meanwhile, remained on the bench and it remains to be seen if he will get the chance next time out (against Inter, the perfect game for him).
