AC Milan managed to repel the advances of one of Europe’s richest clubs during the summer as Theo Hernandez was in demand, a report claims.
Since signing for Milan from Real Madrid in the summer of 2019, Theo Hernandez has established himself as one of the best full-backs in the world, helping to reinvent the Rossoneri’s left flank in addition to Rafael Leao who has also exploded.
Calciomercato.com recalls the words of Paolo Maldini who was asked by La Gazzetta dello Sport if there were offers that arrived during the most recent summer window for other players aside from Leao, who was wanted by Chelsea.
“We have received offers for Theo but we have said no,” were the words of the technical director. While he did not reveal the team that came forward, the report states that the team that wanted the France international the most was PSG, despite the fact they invested in Nuno Mendes for that role.
