Sky journalist assures Milan will sign a centre-back and names three targets

There have been conflicting reports on AC Milan’s centre-back pursuit in the last couple of days. On one hand, the journalists continue to link players with the Rossoneri, while the club officials have played down the pursuit.

Regardless of what the intention of Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara actually is, yesterday’s game made it pretty clear that reinforcement is needed. In fact, both goals could’ve been avoided with better defending.

Furthermore, it seems very unsustainable for Milan to continue with such a depth crisis in what is a very important season. Speaking to TMW Radio, Sky journalist Luca Marchetti assured the Rossoneri fans that they will sign a centre-back.

Will Milan sign a centre-back?

“Yes, they will. Bailly, Diallo – who are at the AFCONs – and Casale are the names that are circulating,” he stated.

It remains to be seen which player Maldini and Massara will go for. The three names mentioned above certainly seem to be realistic candidates for the role, but they surely aren’t the only ones on the list of the directors.
