Seko Fofana winks at Milan as Maldini considers a move

RC Lens midfielder Seko Fofana seems to have opened to the idea of joining AC Milan and a deal could yet be explored, according to a report.

Today’s edition of Corriere dello Sport (via PianetaMilan) spoke about the situation of Fofana and in particular the idea of him returning to Serie A to play for Milan. During an interview yesterday, the 27-year-old seemed to suggest he would be tempted if the Rossoneri came forward, and also admitted he speaks regularly with Mike Maignan.

The paper notes how Fofana would offer Milan a guarantee that their midfield needs after Franck Kessie’s exit, as Fofana played 41 games last season, racking up 10 goals and 2 assists. He has worn the captain’s armband of Lens, having arrived from Udinese for €8.5m.

He already knows Serie A well having played in Italy for four seasons and therefore he would have no problems with adaptation, and he is on the list for Milan.
