Repubblica: Milan put forward their first offer to Dybala

AC Milan have made an offer to Paulo Dybala as Inter’s pursuit of the Argentine forward has stalled, according to a report.

La Repubblica (via PianetaMilan) reports that Dybala ‘is very much liked’ by directors Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara and he still has to find a team given that no club seem willing to satisfy his salary requests at the moment.

Initially, Dybala was asking for a multi-year contract worth €10m net per year, which is a very high amount even if he would arrive on a free transfer (net of the commissions for his agent Jorge Antun).

The paper adds that Inter froze the deal for Dybala because they must make sales and create room in their attacking department before launching a concrete bid. The Nerazzurri offered him a €6m per year contract that has not yet been accepted.

Now Milan have come forward and have instead offered Dybala a contract worth €4m net, while in recent days his entourage also offered the former Palermo man to Roma. In short, the saga is far from over.
