Report: Torino want Milan youngster Lazetic on loan

Marko Lazetic hasn’t been getting that much playing time for the first team since he joined AC Milan from Red Star Belgrade in January. A loan move seems to be on the cards, with one club in particular keen.

The young forward made an appearance for Milan in the Coppa Italia loss against Inter, registering a total of four minutes on the pitch. He played a bit more for the Primavera side, though, and showed his quality on more than one occasion.

In any case, a loan move could be good for his career and according to MilanPress, Torino manager Ivan Juric has requested to sign Lazetic on loan. It would be an operation similar to the one that brought Tommaso Pobega to the Turin side last summer.

Milan are open to the solution but want to wait for the return of Divock Origi. Olivier Giroud is the only striker available currently, not counting Ante Rebic, and thus Stefano Pioli wants to keep Lazetic around. The latter, in fact, scored a brace in the friendly against Pergolettese earlier today.
