Lille have asked AC Milan for information regarding full-back Fode Ballo-Toure and could soon launch a move, a report claims.
Ballo-Toure may have only arrived at Milan last summer but he could leave after one season. The full-back department was bolstered by the renewal of Theo Hernandez which is a good starting point, but Maldini and Massara have to make important decisions also from an exit point of view.
Ballo-Touré simply has not convinced Pioli, who instead preferred to play Alessandro Florenzi in the left-back role when Theo was out, and the Senegal international could soon say goodbye to Milan.
According to Daniel Speranza of MilanPress, Lille asked Milan for information about Ballo-Touré, who actually played with Les Dogues from 2017-2019. The Rossoneri made it known that they are willing to sell him, but must first find a replacement.
Abdou Diallo is the man mentioned in the tweet as the possible replacement given that he can play both the role of centre-back and left-back.
