MN: Theo Hernandez a train that never stops

Theo Hernandez has been an undisputed member of the starting line-up for virtually all of his time at AC Milan so far, and his impressive growth continues.

MilanNews describes Theo as ‘a high-speed train that whizzes on the left-side lane’. Having arrived in the summer of 2019 as a young player with good potential, the Frenchman is now established as one of the best full-backs in Italy if not in all of Europe, something that has now made him a regular in Didier Deschamps’ French national team.

In the Coppa Italia against Lazio he put in another excellent performance topped off by an assist for teammate Olivier Giroud, adding to his impressive numbers. So far at Milan he has played 108 games, with 19 goals and 21 assists to his name so far. There is an aspect to improve though, because he has 31 cards in those 108 games.

It will soon be announced that Theo’s time at Milan will continue until 2026 as his agent Manuel Garcia Quilón is in Italy for the signing, with an agreement having now been reached for some time on the basis of a pay rise from €1.5m net per season to €4.5m.
