AC Milan had a training session this morning in view of the game against Atalanta on Sunday. In addition to that, Serie A referee Gianluca Manganiello was also present at Milanello to speak with the team.
According to MilanNews, the referee was at Milanello today and he spoke to the team, as well as the staff. He discusses several topics with the players, including a few regulatory changes that have come into effect for this season.
In other words, it was to make the players more aware of the current rules and also build a rapport with the referees. It’s a timely visit as Milan will take on Atalanta this Sunday, a game that could get pretty heated (as we have seen in the past).
The Milan players are in good spirits after the 4-2 win against Udinese and the feeling is that it could be another successful season for the team. We are just at the beginning, though, and the players are aware of this.
