MN: Gazidis says goodbye to 150 employees


CEO Ivan Gazidis has said goodbye to his colleagues at AC Milan given he will officially leave the club in a few days, according to a report.

As reported this morning by Tuttosport and by MilanNews, yesterday afternoon Gazidis said goodbye to the club’s employees with almost 150 present, given that his contract will expire on December 5 and he will be replaced as CEO by Giorgio Furlani.

It is a final goodbye therefore after he bid farewell to the fans in Milan’s 2-1 win over Fiorentina before the World Cup break, the last game before his deal ends. The president Paolo Scaroni did the honous, thanking Gazidis for the work done during his four years as CEO of the club.

An emotional video was then screened that retraced Gazidis’ journey to Milan, including the most beautiful and touching moments. Visibly moved, the former CEO wanted to thank everyone saying that: “I will always remain a fan of Milan.” He also spoke about leaving a club with a solid present and a brighter future with ample room for development.
