AC Milan’s pre-season will begin today and fans are already gathering at Milanello for the special event, also known as the Raduno in Italy. Over 5k fans are expected at the training ground and the atmosphere should be great.
The Rossoneri want to get back into shape ahead of the four friendlies they have scheduled for later this month. Due to the World Cop, which will be played in the winter, the Serie A season will also start earlier than usual (August 13).
According to Luca Bianchin of Gazzetta, around 5k fans are expected to be at Milanello today and that is a very good figure. The training session will begin at 11:15 CEST and Stefano Pioli will then have a press conference at 15:00.
The management will be present, including CEO Ivan Gazidis, and the special event should give the Rossoneri a nice buzz ahead of what will be a crucial season for them. Defending the Scudetto, of course, is the goal.
