AC Milan could be set to do battle with Premier League sides Manchester United and Liverpool for the signature of young Dutch forward Cody Gakpo, a report claims.
As has been reported by Calciomercato.com today, the Rossoneri are one of many teams that are interested in signing Gakpo from Eredivisie side PSV Eindhoven.
He has been impressing for both his club and with Louis van Gaal’s Netherlands side in recent months and he was heavily linked with a move to Manchester United towards the end of the summer transfer window when it seemed that Cristiano Ronaldo may be on the move.
The 23-year-old is now maturing to the point where many feel that he has outgrown the Dutch top flight and needs to make a move to a more competitive league.
He has played around 100 senior games for PSV and he has scored nearly 40 goals in that time for them.
