AC Milan are one of three clubs that are interested in signing Noah Okafor from Red Bull Salzburg, according to a report.
As reported by Florian Plattenberg of Sky Germany, Okafor is attracting interest from a number of clubs but three clubs in particular stand out above all: Manchester City, Liverpool and Milan.
His current asking price is between €35m and €40m, but there is a World Cup to come where the 22-year-old hopes to be a star with Switzerland and therefore his price could skyrocket yet.
It comes after Calciomercato.com recently reported that a new reinforcement will be sought for the attack next summer as Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara want to give Stefano Pioli a No.9 to entrust for the future.
Okafor impressed against Milan in the Champions League, scoring in the first game against the Austrian champions to make it 1-0 before Alexis Saelemaekers’ opener, and the player himself branded the Rossoneri a ‘great club’ before the return game.
