Milan initiate new Sanches attempt as PSG take a step back

In spite of the obvious slowdown recently, AC Milan remain interested in Renato Sanches and a new attempt is on the horizon. Paris Saint-Germain have taken a step back, thus leaving an opening.

As a result of Franck Kessie’s exit, the Rossoneri directors are looking for a midfielder on the market. Tommaso Pobega and Yacine Adli have returned from their respective loan spells and will come in handy, but a signing is still expected.

According to Gianluca Di Marzio, there were new contacts with Lille yesterday over Sanches. Milan want to make a serious attempt at securing the Portuguese midfielder as PSG have taken a step back in their pursuit, leaving an opening.

The terms that the clubs had previously agreed on are no longer active but there is optimism that an agreement can be reached. In any case, the Sanches interest hasn’t died out completely for Milan and work is underway.
