Milan expected to extend deal with PUMA and net sizeable revenue boost

AC Milan are set to be rewarded for their improved fortunes on the field with an increase in revenue from one of their main sponsors, a report claims.

With Milan having secured a second straight Champions League campaign and the possibility of winning the league title on Sunday, a rise in the money generated from sponsors and partners is expected to rise.

According to Corriere dello Sport (via MilanNews), the renewal of the agreement between Milan and the technical sponsor PUMA is expected shortly, which expires in 2023. The new agreement is expected to be at higher figures than the current ones, too.

The paper goes on to add that the deal should go from €13m per season fixed to €20m plus €2m in bonuses that will be triggered under certain conditions, which is a rise of over 53% compared to the terms of the current deal and is a sign of an improving situation on and off the field.
