Milan expect to have Tomori back in time for Tottenham clash

AC Milan think that they will have Fikayo Tomori back from injury in time to face Tottenham Hotspur in the Champions League round of 16, a report claim.

As has been reported by Milan News, the English centre-back is currently trying to recover from an injury but it should not keep him out of the Champions League tie.

The game at San Siro, the first leg of the round of 16, take place on February 14 and Tomori is not expected to play again before that half.

He underwent some tests on Wednesday in training on the hip injury that he picked up against Lazio in the 4-0 Serie A defeat.

The results of the test showed that the healing is going to plan which is encouraging for the Champions League tie.

The focus is entirely on that game which means that he will be out of the derby with Inter as well as the Torino match.
