Milan demonstrate their head, heart and quality to earn draw against Juventus

AC Milan managed to overcome a large amount of injuries and secure what could turn out to be a valuable point away against Juventus yesterday.

As this morning’s edition of il Corriere della Sera (via MilanNews) writes, Milan will return home from Turin with a big point that proves once again that the Rossoneri are a team that has head, heart, quality and able to overcome the difficulties they face. The Rossoneri remain at the top of the table together with Inter – at least until Napoli play tonight – and eight points above Juve.

The game started terribly after Morata’s goal on the counter and an injury forSimon Kjaer who joined the long list of players out (along with Calabria, Ibrahimovic, Giroud, Bakayoko, Messias and Krunic). Despite this setback, the equaliser came with 14 minutes to go thanks to Rebic’s header.

They could have even won if it weren’t for the save from Szczesny late on to deny Kalulu, but most importantly the team gave a sign that they are serious.
