The Gunners splashed around £150million in the transfer window as they rebuilt their squad following their eighth-place finish in the Premier League, failing to qualify for Europe for the first time in 25 years.

But that was just the start for the north London club as they prepare to add more reinforcements at the end of the season.

And Fichajes reports that Lang is a target for Arsenal after he impressed for the Belgian side midweek as they held Paris Saint-Germain to a draw in the Champions League.

Would Noa Lang be a good signing for Arsenal? Comment below

The 22-year-old was named man of the match as Lionel Messi made his debut for PSG.

Lang has been excellent for Brugge domestically too in the Jupiler Pro League and was involved in 22 goals last term. The Dutch winger has carried that form over to the new season, scoring eight goals in nine matches.

It’s reported that Brugge value their prized asset at around £20million.

Lang fits Arsenal’s signing criteria perfectly.

Arteta has made a concerted effort to invest in a younger core as summer signings Martin Odegaard, Ben White, Aaron Ramsdale, Albert Lokonga and Takehiro Tomiyasu are all under the age of 23 as they focus on the long term future of the club.

Edu has also handed contract extensions to Kieran Tierney and Emile Smith Rowe in the summer.

The Gunners will face stiff competition from the likes of Leicester City and AC Milan, however.

Arsenal might also need to trim their squad before they can make a move for Lang.

Alexandre Lacazette is out of contract next summer and his exit should reduce the wage bill, somewhat, while there are claims they could try and sell the likes of Nicolas Pepe to raise the desired funds.
