Mediaset: Milan interested in Juventus midfielder but loan not an option

AC Milan are looking for a new attacking midfielder but it does not seem likely that it will be Aaron Ramsey, according to a report.

La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews) reported this morning that the Rossoneri are looking for a profile with different characteristics – both physically and technically – to Brahim Diaz. This is why Aaron Ramsey has appeared on the list of targets, as he would fit well with Stefano Pioli’s project and CEO Ivan Gazidis knows him very well from his time at Arsenal.

Journalist Sandro Sabatini spoke on SportMediaset (via MilanLive) and confirmed that there is an interest from Milan in signing Ramsey, as his €8m net per season contract would weigh less on the accounts thanks to the Growth Decree.

It cannot be a dry loan as Juventus would demand at least a loan with obligation to buy, which makes things difficult. Meanwhile, Hakim Ziyech does not seem like a player who will be leaving Chelsea, while James Rodriguez can leave Everton but the problem is his salary, which should be lowered to land in Italy.
