Marca journalist provides updates on Milan’s pursuit of Real Madrid outcasts Isco and Odriozola

The transfer market is approaching its last weeks and even after spending a significant amount in July, AC Milan are looking to reinforce the team with several additions, some of which could arrive from Real Madrid, whom the Rossoneri will face tomorrow in a friendly match in Austria.

The two hottest names seem to be Isco and Álvaro Odriozola, who do not appear to be in Carlo Ancelotti’s plans for next season. Marca journalist Jose Felix Diaz spoke about the two players in an interview with Milannews.it.

According to Diaz, tomorrow could be an opportunity for talks about the two players between the Milan management and Real Madrid.

He also added that with regards to Isco, Madrid are not in a position to be able to decide, seeing as the player’s contract expires next summer, and the attacking midfielder could leave the Santiago Bernabeu ‘almost for free’.

On the other hand, the Marca journalist was full of praise towards Odriozola and sees the right-back as ready to be a starter at a high-level club.
