Maignan wins best Milan assist of the season for pass to Leao

AC Milan goalkeeper Mike Maignan has been given the award of the best assists of the season by any Rossoneri player.

The French goalkeeper overcame the competition and was announced by the club on social media on Sunday as the winner of the award.

The assist in question came against Sampdoria at the San Siro in February. Maignan had the ball in his own box and spotted a run from Rafael Leao.

The perfect pass found the Portuguese forward on the left who then beat his man and scored excellently.
