Saelemaekers: “It’s a happiness that I cannot describe. We have fought all year, now we have the title in our hands. It’s true, we have worked hard, but we have a united group and today we proved it”.
It’s Milan’s first Scudetto since the 2010/11 season and there’s no doubt that they deserve to be in this position. Today’s performance was yet another confirmation of this as they closed the game in the first half with three goals.
Stefano Pioli and his men will receive a lot of praise for this and rightfully so, but for now celebrations are running wild in Reggio Emilia and Milan, as well as all over the world, which is amazing to see.
