GdS: ‘The World Cup says Milan’

Two of AC Milan’s players continue to impress at the World Cup and they have been highlighted by this morning’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport.

The paper has a section titled: “The World Cup says Milan. Giroud-Theo, what a start: Pioli rubs his hands.” They have analysed the performances of the players playing in Serie A in terms of how they have fared so far in Qatar.

It is Juventus players that are the ones who have played the most in terms of minutes, but in performance the best are the Rossoneri with Theo Hernandez and Giroud having made a great start with France.

Rafael Leao also did well, scoring for Portugal on his World Cup debut within three minutes after coming off the bench, while Simon Kjaer has one start but is battling a thigh issue, Charles De Ketelaere has racked up just 15 minutes of playing time and Fode Ballo-Toure is also battling a muscle problem.
