The Milan management have decided that they want to push ahead to secure the return of Diogo Dalot from Manchester United, a report claims.
La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews) reports how it will not be an easy pursuit because dealing with Manchester United is always complicated, but Milan want to try and get Dalot back in their squad for the 2021-22 season and he is at the top of the Rossoneri’s wish list for the full-back department.
The reasons are simple: the Portugal international already knows the environment and also Serie A as well as the system of Stefano Pioli. In addition, Dalot knows how to play both on the right and on the left and therefore can alternate without problems with both Davide Calabria and Theo Hernandez.
Milan want him back on loan, but this time adding an option to buy at the end of the loan spell, so what remains to be seen is whether United will open to this formula in the coming weeks or if they will continue to want to sell him on a permanent basis only. The player, for his part, has never hidden the desire to come back.
