AC Milan head coach Stefano Pioli is not expected to have Zlatan Ibrahimovic available for the next couple of games, according to a report.
Ibrahimovic sustained an injury during the 0-0 draw with Juventus last month. There was some worry when Olivier Giroud took his jacket off and lined up to come on as Ibrahimovic was in possession, but the ball was then kicked out and it became clear that the Ibra had suffered an injury, with instant panic that it was an Achilles problem that could result in a long-term absence.
It then emerged that it was just discomfort, but it forced him to miss the derby against Inter at the weekend, and La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews) reports that he is still struggling due to inflammation of the Achilles tendon.
The Swede has a strong desire to return to the field, but to do so he will have to wait a few more days, and the Rossoneri striker could return for the away match against Salernitana on Saturday 19 February.
