Stefano Pioli has asked the AC Milan management to bring in a playmaker for the attacking trio this summer and it seems Hakim Ziyech is now the primary target. In fact, work is underway on that front, a report claims.
Pioli wants a play that can play both as a No.10 and to the right in the attacking trio, thus making up for Milan’s biggest faults this past season. Several names have been linked with them but it seems Ziyech is now the most concrete one.
According to Gianluca Di Marzio, there were new contacts between Milan and Chelsea today to discuss the matter and they will continue to work on it. Ziyech is a serious target for the Rossoneri and the right formula is being discussed for the deal.
Maldini and Massara, following their renewals, consider Ziyech the primary target and they want to secure the deal. The contacts that took place today were ‘important’, per the journalist, and it remains to be seen what the outcome will be.
