David de Gea aimed an amusing dig at Bruno Fernandes after the Manchester United midfielder’s latest activity on social media.
The Portugal star has made a habit of poking fun at the Red Devils’ goalkeepers in recent weeks.
Following Dean Henderson’s spectacular save in the Europa League tie with AC Milan, Fernandes wrote: “I knew it, all of this was for the photo! Next time just catch it please.”
And after De Gea posted a picture wearing Spain’s new away goalkeeper kit, he responded: “You do goalkeeper and model right?”
But De Gea has now had the chance to get his own back.
Fernandes took to Twitter on Thursday morning to post a picture of him smiling on his balcony, writing: “OK, morning coffee is over… Q&A time… Who’s got a question?”
De Gea quoted the tweet with a thinking face and added: “Are you a model?”
Amusingly, Fernandes’ Q&A turned out to be an April Fools’ Day prank and he did not reply to any of the thousands of questions he received.

The 26-year-old is clearly in good spirits after returning from international duty early due to a yellow-card suspension.
Fernandes featured in Portugal’s 1-0 win over Azerbaijan and the 2-2 draw with Serbia but was booked in both World Cup qualifiers, ruling him out of the 3-1 win at Luxembourg on Tuesday.
De Gea, meanwhile, was on the bench for Spain’s draw with Greece and victories over Georgia and Kosovo.
It remains to be seen if he will be handed the gloves for Sunday’s Premier League clash with Brighton.
Henderson performed well between the sticks in March while De Gea returned to his home country for the birth of his first child.
The Englishman was on the bench for England’s recent World Cup qualifiers, with Burnley’s Nick Pope starting in goal.
