AC Milan will face Inter in the Derby Della Madonnina this evening and they will do it without Zlatan Ibrahimovic. The Achilles inflammation is keeping the 40-year-old and he could also miss the game against Lazio.
Obviously, the Rossoneri are only focused on the derby right now, seeing as it could more or less decide the Scudetto race. A much-needed win would put them just one point behind Inter, while a loss would put them at -7.
It’s an important game, therefore, but there will also be an important game on Wednesday evening. Milan will take on Lazio in the Coppa Italia quarter-finals (at home) and Corriere Dello Sport (via MilanNews) are reporting that Ibrahimovic could miss that as well.
It remains to be seen if Marko Lazetic, the new arrival, will get some minutes in the upcoming two games as Olivier Giroud most likely won’t play the full 90 minutes each game.
