Conte urges Milan fans to ‘be confident’ for Liverpool clash: “They are doing well”

Today’s the big day. AC Milan are finally back in the Champions League and will take on Liverpool away from home this evening. It won’t be an easy game, but they have a good chance after starting the season so well.

The Rossoneri are eager to prove that they deserve to be in the competition and a good performance tonight would help them a long way with that. Of course, some of the fans are not as confident when it comes to the final result.

In an interview with Sky Italia, as cited by MilanNews, former Inter and Juventus boss Antonio Conte spoke about the clash. He urged the Milan fans to believe in their team as they have started so well.

“It will be a good match and a good test. The Milan fans must be confident, Milan are doing well. They must be optimistic and positive,” he stated.

Hopefully, it will be a nice evening for Stefano Pioli’s men, who then will take on Juventus on Sunday evening. The seven-day period started well with the win against Lazio, but two tough tests remain.
