Christian Eriksen is training individually at his former academy team in what is a major landmark of his rehabilitation from the cardiac arrest he suffered this summer.
The Inter Milan midfielder, 29, collapsed while playing for Denmark against Finland in a group-stage game at Euro 2020.
His teammates formed a wall to shield him from the cameras as heroic medics performed CPR and used a defibrillator to save his life.
The harrowing scenes united European football fans and there was mass delight as Eriksen was discharged from hospital six days after his admission.
The former Tottenham star was fitted with an implantable cardioverter defibrillator (ICD), a pacemaker capable of preventing fatal cardiac arrests by sending a jolt to the heart to restore regular rhythm.

This ICD prevents Eriksen from representing Inter, as the Italian Football Federation do not allow players with such devices to compete competitively.
Therefore, Eriksen has not played football since the day of his collapse in mid-June and he subsequently returned to his homeland to continue his recovery.
However, in a promising update, he has returned to individual training at his former youth team, Odense Boldklub (OB).
Eriksen represented the Danish club between 2005 and 2008 before joining Ajax as a 16-year-old for a fee in the region of £1million.
“Eriksen reached out to us, and he is now training by himself,” an OB spokesperson told Reuters . “It’s natural for him since he played here in his youth and lives around the corner.
“We are very happy to be able to provide training facilities for him.”
Eriksen won a Danish youth team title during his time with OB and his impressive rise caught the attention of European heavyweights including Chelsea, Manchester United, Real Madrid, Barcelona and AC Milan.
But he chose to continue his development at Ajax and made his first-team debut as a teenager in early 2010.

Eriksen played 162 games for the Dutch side before joining Spurs for £11million in 2013, going on to make 305 appearances for the north Londoners while also reaching the Champions League final in 2019.
The gifted playmaker joined Inter for £17million in January 2020, when he had less than six months remaining on his Tottenham contract, and helped the Italian giants win Serie A one month before his collapse at the Euros.
Eriksen has two-and-a-half years remaining on his deal at the San Siro, but it remains to be seen if he will ever play football again.
